Everyone has that one special car that ends up tugging on their heartstrings and for me it’s the GT. In fact I am glad that I got rid of the Abarth and picked up the GT TSI again. Having been driving the GT TSI for a year do I miss the Abarth? The honest answer to that question is a resounding NO. The first generation GT TSI that I sold to my aunt is going strong and has no issues (DSG or otherwise) at all. The annual service cost me Rs 7859.įor the uninitiated, this is the second GT TSI that I’ve purchased, having owned the first generation GT TSI from 2013-2016, I sold that vehicle to my aunt and purchased the Abarth Punto which I sold in 2018 (the car was not at all conducive for city driving) and purchased a GT TSI yet again. I’ve clocked 862 Km since my purchase in May last year and 95% of it was on city roads. My ownership journey has been uneventful and hence I haven’t updated this thread in many months. A few days ago I completed one year of ownership with my 2018 GT TSI.
